Moholt Towers, Norway

Norway’s biggest wood construction can be admired at Trondheim’s university campus. Thanks to the Moholt Towers, this building catches all the builders’, designers’ and engineers’ attention.

After the building’s completion, five apartment blocks of cross laminated timber provide enough space for over 600 students. The construction’s facade is made of Kebony wood – a kind of wood which has been awarded many times because of its sustainability. Especially the wood’s resistance is of high importance in Trondheim, as this place is known to have 200 days of rain.
