Museum village Niedersulz, Austria
The museum village of Niedersulz, an outdoor museum, draws just about everybody’s attention. Ever increasing numbers of visitors meant that a new visitors’ center was set to be built for the exhibition area. Our wooden thermal pine façade lends this construction project a purely natural flair, and we are quite proud of the outcome. The new structure has been harmoniously combined with the existing building complex in a blend of old and new, quite like the museum itself. We fitted the interior with our Gran Paradiso, creating the perfect environment for artists.
The museum village of Niedersulz has won the Niederösterreichischen Holzbaupreis in 2012 in the category "Öffentliche- und Kommunalbauten".
