Chalets Aadla-Walser, Austria
Vorarlberg is the home of the Walser who cultivate their very own dialect. Here, the mountain pine bears the sonorous and almost Finnish-looking name Aadla, which was used to name the seven Walser chalets in Schröcken am Arlberg. Fantastically located at 1,500 meters above sea level, the building septet captivates with its natural stone, glass-walled fireplaces, outdoor bathing facilities and, of course, with its authentic wood. We have been able to deliver a good part of this from our factory in Upper Styria to the Walser Höhensiedlung. In this case, Spruce steamed was used, as well as the Vesuv panels tinted in warm dark tones.
